Hi I’m Da’Myah!
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate (LCSWA) who works with adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating the complexities of life from anxiety, depression, and life transitions to identity exploration and relationship challenges. I believe that therapy should be a supportive, nonjudgmental space where every individual feels truly seen, heard, and empowered to grow.
I am passionate about helping individuals cultivate resilience, self-compassion, and practical tools to navigate life’s challenges. I enjoy supporting clients as they navigate transitions, relationships, and personal growth. I am honored to walk alongside clients on their path to healing, helping them uncover strengths they may not even realize they have, and guiding them toward a more empowered and balanced life. If you think we’d be a good fit, please reach out at damyah@hineinicounseling.com or 980-349-5598.
More about me.
My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and deeply client-centered. I draw from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and solution-focused strategies, while also incorporating creative modalities like art and play therapy when appropriate. I integrate emotion regulation skills, psychoeducation, narrative therapy, and relaxation techniques to help clients build insight, develop coping strategies, and take meaningful steps toward change. My goal is always to meet clients where they are and align the work with their values, goals, and lived experiences.
